Having worked in the agency world for decades, we know the in and outs and ups and downs of the industry that can leave you downright dizzy. Our core team keeps it simple, bringing all of the insights and full-service of a larger agency, with the scrappiness and collaboration you deserve.

But we know our limits. Sometimes a project needs more hands on deck or a skill we’re happy to admit we don’t have. We believe your message deserves the right medium with the right touch. Creative Director

Nicknamed “Jackie-of-all-trades,” I bring 20 years of industry experience and a lifetime of obsessing over creating and communicating to my clients. I love what I do — whether it's designing, illustrating, presenting, directing, researching, working solo or with a team. I’ve worked with Fortune 500 companies all the way to local non-profits on a wide spectrum of projects, but what really matters to me is people. I’m honored by the trust my clients have in me and try to push the limit everyday.

Personally unfussy and informal, professionally idealist and perfectionist. Collector of mid-century modern furnishings, art and quirky knick knacks. Compulsive creator. Hoarder of hobbies. Nose often in a book. Coffee mug often in hand. Lover of laughter, people with passion and finding the undercurrent and connection in it all.

 

Hunter Adams

Media Director

I’ve always been obsessed with film. As a kid, I’d write scripts and make movies with my brother in our neighborhood. For the last 20 years I’ve carefully honed those skills writing and directing commercials, short films, branded content and indie features. I love telling stories that move, inform and sometimes even provoke. I also believe film has a unique power to shed light on issues that are misunderstood or ignored, and am passionate about amplifying voices that are often unheard or disregarded in an uncontrived way.

Outside of Burgoo, I’m generally watching old movies, writing new scripts or thinking of my next idea for a horror film. Occasionally I’ll break the movie mold to obsessively consume books about the universe (or the things in it), fire up some culinary fare in the kitchen, or disappear into nature.

Burgoo was born from a desire to make creative that counts while using a highly efficient business model. We bring a full spectrum of skills and decades of experience to the table —without the ego.
